Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant (Full-time) (#007)

Format: Hybrid (90% Remote Eligible)​
Schedule: Full-time (Will consider part-time)

Salary: DOE. You will be asked to provide your desired compensation when you complete the application.

Job Overview: We seek an early-career paralegal or legal assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be independent, a self-starter, patient with clients, and exceptional with people.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with all phases of litigation, from inception through trial and post-trial.

Conduct legal research and gather relevant information.

Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

Manage case files and maintain organized records.

Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Assist with trial preparation and attend trials as needed.

Provide support in corporate services, including preparing corporate documents.

Other tasks as necessary, as well as the occasional "personal assistant" duties, such as booking flights, etc.
Qualifications:

Paralegal certification or relevant degree. Significant paralegal experience may waive this requirement.

Minimum of 2 years of litigation paralegal experience.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.

Familiarity with North Carolina and/or South Carolina court procedures.

Experience in corporate services is a plus.
