Position: Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview
 

This is a remote-friendly role supporting active casework in a lean practice environment. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, excellent organization, and hands-on experience across litigation and general legal matters.
 

Responsibilities

  • Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and legal documents

  • Manage case files, deadlines, calendars, and court filings

  • Assist with civil litigation tasks, including discovery coordination and trial preparation

  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner

  • Track case progress and flag upcoming deadlines or issues

  • Maintain confidentiality and organized records across all matters
     

Qualifications

  • Several years of paralegal experience in general practice or civil litigation

  • Strong legal drafting and document management skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters at once

  • Familiarity with North Carolina court procedures (South Carolina experience a plus)

  • Professional judgment, reliability, and attention to detail

  • Comfort working remotely in a small-firm setting
     

Compensation & Schedule

  • Part-time position

  • $50,000 - $60,000 (Based on experience)

  • Flexible schedule by mutual agreement
